Upcoming release date

Hello friends,

We got something very important to inform you about.

We are in process of upgrading UserOverview.com in coming weeks. It will have lots of new features, new slick design & number of fixes.

We have finalized the release date and its 13th May, 2010.

Now, by moving forward to a new release, we have made few decisions in favor of making the whole user experience more easy and simple. We will keep you updated about all the changes as when required.

As of now, we would like to inform all existing users about a change in our widget integration (survey integration to your website) feature. From 13th May, 2010, we will be removing this feature in favor of new simple one page survey which will be hosted on our website instead of yours. This is because, we got few complaints from our users where our survey integration code has caused some design problems in their website and in some case it showed unwanted scrolling controls which hurts their user's experience. So we had to take this decision to overcome such problems.
To overcome inconvenience for you of removing the integration code from your site urgently, we will be removing the actual survey in that integration widget with a link to a survey page on our website from the day of release, so that you can get some time to remove that code from your site and replace it with simple link to survey page hosted on our site.

So all the existing users who are using this feature are requested to please take note of it and take action accordingly.

Let us know your comments about this change.

Thanks,
UserOverview.com Team

Major updates in coming weeks

We planned to introduce new survey design interface & new question type in coming weeks.

UserOverview.com will be even more user friendly and intuitive. With the new AJAX interface creating survey, questions and publishing them doesn't require to reload the page. It means you can create surveys faster and whole process become more user friendly, more intuitive and fun.

We also added 11 new questions type to create survey. Now you can ask complex questions too and an improved report section.

Hope you all love this, stay tuned for future updates.

Report Galore : Export to PDF & Excel Spread sheet

Hello friends,

Its news time !!!!

We have added couple of most asked features to the survey reports section. These are "Export to PDF" & "Export to Excel" functions. Now you can export the report data in pdf or MS Excel formats for your personal offline data analysis.
You can see them right at the top right corner of the survey report table.
These two were mostly asked by all of our clients at one or other time so here is the update with just these two.

At the time of writing this post, our development team has already started working on few other very interesting & useful features for next update.
Glimpse of upcoming features:
Export entire survey(all questions and their answers) to PDF/Excel.
Survey attempt Viewer(to see question with all their answers)
Report Sharing
Survey invitation to your friends
....and many more

So enjoy the latest changes and let us know your comments/questions/issues regarding this new updates.

We are waiting for your feedback.

Moving on - UserOverview.com update

Hello friends,

Cheers!!

We are here once again with few improvements and features in UserOverview.com. We hope you are having good time using our services. We are trying to keep UserOverview.com up to the mark and at the same time as simple and easy as it can get for you.

Here are our recent changes to UserOverview.com
1) Added "Survey Templates" on home page to quicking start building survey from pre-defined surveys.
2) Few decoration changes in the menu system.
3) Added option for "Multiple survey attempts from same machine" instead of default setting which allows uniques visitors for each survey( The uniqueness was based on visitor's machine IP). Now you can set your survey to be attempted by non-unique visitors.
4) Bug fix for Survey attempts in IE when visitor tries to attempt the same survey multiple times. This was not relevant before but now with "Multiple attempt" option this is critical bug fix.
5) Few twaeks to improve survey loading time. This is an area where we are still working on and you will see much more improvement in near future.
6) Few small "look and feel" changes here and there.

We would like to thank specifically to Jay Sibbing, Roy, Mike & Agatha for their very valuable inputs & suggestions in last few days. This is their frequent communication with us which made this release even special for us.

And, as always we love to hear from you on anything and everything you think or feel about UserOverview.com.

Looking forward to hear from you all.

Thanks,
UserOverview Team
